Irish Skipper Expo 2023 will be held in Limerick on 24th & 25th February 2023. It is Ireland’s flagship fisheries show that attracts large numbers of exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.
Previously known as Skipper Expo Int. Galway, the success of the event and its rapid expansion over the years has resulted in the show moving to the UL Sport Arena in Limerick under the new name of Irish Skipper Expo.
The new spacious venue in UL Sports Arena, allowed for visitors to move from stand to stand at their ease, with exhibitors noting that they had a greater opportunity to interact with people as a result.
Ryan & Roberts Marine Services Ltd, who have been fitting out Lochin mouldings in Ireland since the mid-nineties are proud to announce the arrival in Ireland of all the Lochin moulds to include the 33, 36 and 40’ moulds, including all sub moulds and accessories.
Having completed a range of versatile tourism boats in the last number of years, including the Skellig Flyer for Portmagee’s Paul Devane and the Dun Eoghan for Inishowen’s John McLaughlin, the team at Ryan & Roberts take pride in developing vessels to suit each customer’s specific needs.
As Ryan & Roberts owner Cyril Ryan explains, “Every customer has their own unique preferences, whether that’s in terms of tailoring the specific design of a passenger boat or fitting certain fixtures on a fishing boat. We work closely with our customers to ensure that the finished product is of the highest quality.”
Cyril will be showcasing his most recent completion at the Irish Skipper Expo, a new 10 metre potting boat for Mr James McGonagle of Kincasslagh, Co Donegal. Again, the craft was built with a totally new designed super-structure to incorporate a small whale back and the new Lochin wheelhouse with forward facing windscreens which can be adapted for a multitude of wheelhouse sizes, including catamarans.
